Garlic Butter Salmon Fillets
🛒 What You’ll Need
- 4 Salmon fillets (6 oz each) 🐟✨
- 2 tbsp Olive oil 🫒
- 4 tbsp Salted butter 🧈
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced 🧄
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped 🌿
- 1 Fresh lemon (half for juice, half for slices) 🍋
- ½ tsp Smoked paprika ✨
- Salt & Black pepper to taste 🧂🖤
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prep the Fish: Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. 🐟💨🧂
- The Perfect Sear: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon in the pan (skin-side up if they have skin). Sear for 4–5 minutes until a beautiful golden crust forms as seen in the photo! 🍳🔥📈
- Flip It: Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 2–3 minutes. ⏲️🧤
- The Magic Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Add the butter and minced garlic to the side of the pan. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, use a spoon to continuously baste the salmon with that liquid gold. 🧈🧄🥄🌊
- The Finish: Squeeze in half of the lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Let it simmer for 1 more minute so the flavors meld. 🍋🌿✨
- Serve: Plate your fillets and pour the remaining garlic butter from the pan right over the top. Serve with lemon slices and your favorite sides! 🍽️👑😋
🔥 Pro Tips:
- The “Dry” Secret: Always pat your salmon dry! Any moisture on the surface will cause the fish to steam rather than sear, and we want those crispy, caramelized edges. 🐟🛡️💎
- Don’t Overcook: Salmon is best when it’s slightly pink in the center. It will continue to cook for a minute after you remove it from the heat! ⏲️🚫🎯
