🛒 What You’ll Need

  • 1 1/2 lbs (approx. 4 1/2 cups) Powdered sugar ☁️
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder 🍫
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter, sliced 🧈
  • 1/4 cup Milk 🥛
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract ✨
  • 1/2 cup Chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for that crunch!) 🥜

👩‍🍳 Let’s Get Cooking!

  1. Prep the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch square pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with butter. 🥘
  2. Combine: In a large microwave-safe bowl, sift together the powdered sugar and cocoa powder. 🥣✨
  3. The Butter & Milk: Place the sliced butter and milk on top of the dry mixture. Pro-Tip: Do NOT stir yet! 🤫🚫
  4. Heat: Microwave on high for about 2 minutes until the butter is completely melted. 🔥⏲️
  5. Mix: Remove from the microwave and add the vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until the mixture is glossy and smooth. If you’re adding nuts, fold them in now! 🥜🥄
  6. Set: Spread the fudge evenly into your prepared pan. 🍫📐
  7. Chill: Place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to firm up before slicing into bite-sized squares. ❄️⏳

💡 Top Tip:

If the mixture feels too stiff to stir, pop it back in the microwave for another 15–30 seconds! It should be thick but pourable. 🌡️✨
